When we were making announcements and presenting the Yaris engine to production, we did not have the same level of confidence in our engineering and design processes as other engines.

As you might expect, we had our engineers and designer work independently. When any major change came to our engineering planning or development, a significant amount of it was internal to us and the results could never be finalized. Our goal with the Yaris was to achieve the greatest speed possible. We had to constantly work to ensure that we were implementing all aspects of our new building plan.

We did have to make sure that as the engine evolved and developed, we were working within a team that was very focused on achieving our mission. We were also faced with the difficult decision of if we should add additional engine and engine development support staff to maintain the build experience.
